Barcelona had more reason to complain when it thought it had Araujo was fouled inside the box about ten minutes into stoppage time, and Barcelona should have been penalty kick.

As Barcelona started the defence of their Spanish league championship on Sunday, there was a lot of griping but no joyous celebration.
In their league debut against Getafe, Barcelona were held to a 0-0 draw after Raphinha was sent off for elbowing an opponent in the first half and after a late VAR decision went against them.
"If this is the product that the Spanish league wants to sell, then it's an embarrassment," remarked Barcelona coach Xavi, who was also dismissed in the 70th minute for arguing with referees about a foul that wasn't called.
In the 42nd minute, while battling for position in the attack, Raphinha struck Getafe defender Gastón lvarez in the head with his right elbow, earning him a red card. Barcelona played with one fewer player until Getafe's Jaime Mata was sent off in the 57th minute for tackling Ronald Araujo and collecting a second yellow.
After Araujo was fouled inside the area about ten minutes into stoppage time, Barcelona felt it had a penalty kick, but video review revealed that Barcelona midfielder Gavi had handled the ball in the buildup. This gave Barcelona greater cause for complaint.
"That handball didn't exist," Xavi declared. They said that only the most obvious handballs would be called, but that was not the case. It was really unjust.
At the Balados stadium in Vigo, Celta made just one shot that connected. Osasuna scored goals in the Europa Conference League after finishing seventh the previous year thanks to goals from Moi Goméz and Rubén Garca.
"You notice that we still lack a few things when you play against a team that qualified for a European competition and kept the core of its squad," Bentez remarked. "We'll work hard to make up for that and, if it's possible, add to the squad through transfers," the statement said.
Bentez formerly served as the head coach of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, and Napoli. He most recently served as Everton's English coach. In 2005, he and Liverpool captured the Champions League.
